Golden Triangle Tour Itinerary
DAY 1: Delhi
Arrive in Delhi and check into your hotel. Embark on a half-day sightseeing tour visiting historical landmarks such as Qutub Minar, Humayun’s Tomb, India Gate, and Parliament House. In the evening, enjoy the sound and light show at the Red Fort, a key Mughal monument. Overnight stay in Delhi.
Day 2: Delhi - Agra
After breakfast, drive 200 km to Agra, home of the Taj Mahal. En route, stop to explore Akbar’s Tomb at Sikandra. Check in at your hotel upon arrival. Visit the Taj Mahal with an expert guide, followed by a tour of the Agra Fort, designed as a military stronghold by Emperor Akbar. Overnight stay in Agra.
Day 3: Agra - Jaipur
After breakfast, drive 240 km to the pink city of Jaipur, with a visit to the monumental Fatehpur Sikri en route. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. Enjoy a half-day sightseeing tour of Jaipur, including Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal, City Palace, and the bustling bazaars of Jaipur for excellent shopping. Overnight stay in Jaipur.
Day 4:Jaipur
After breakfast, visit the Amber Fort, the former Rajput capital, with a guide. Enjoy an elephant ride to the fort’s ramparts. Later, explore more of the city’s attractions or indulge in shopping. In the evening, savor an authentic Rajasthani dinner at Chokhi Dhani, an open-air ethnic village with folk dancers and musicians. Overnight stay in Jaipur.
Day 5: Jaipur and onward
Return to Delhi or transfer to Jaipur airport for your next destination. Alternatively, extend your stay in Rajasthan by exploring wildlife sanctuaries at Sariska or Ranthambore, or embark on a camel safari in Shekhawati or Jaisalmer.
